Welcome to the PTA section of our website.
Who are the PTA?
The PTA are a group of parent volunteers who spend their free time organising fundraising events for the school so that further educational resources can be purchased
What do the PTA do at GEMS Twickenham Primary Academy?
Whilst we run a conventional PTA system at TPA we do it in our own unique way. It is not a closed group of members but instead a group of busy working mums and dads that are there to help encourage a happy school community and to drive fundraising initiatives. All monies raised are urgently required by Mr John Smith to help continue to deliver the outstanding school we have.
Fundraising has been successful over the past few years due to the engagement of the whole school community. If you have a good idea or are able to help in any way big or small then please speak to a class rep who will happily tell you how and when you can get involved. As the school grows each year we require more and more hands on the planning and running of individual events.
Over the past few years, parents donations and willingness to get involved has helped fund many of the items in the reception playground and the large wooden climbing structure. Last year, the school community raised £2,500 (after expenses) which went on to pay for ducklings for the reception classes, golden time resources, supporting the school gardening project, and a suite of violins for music lessons.
How can I make contact with the PTA?
