How to begin your child's journey...

We aim to make the admissions process here at the GEMS Twickenham Primary Academy as simple, straightforward and stress free as it can be.

Admissions timeline:

September 2018: Admissions for Reception places open. Children born between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015 can start in Reception class in September 2019. 

Tuesday 15th January 2019: application deadline for places in September 2018.

The easiest way is to apply online using the school admissions website. Please read their Personal Information Policy and validity of information given before applying online.

If you are unable to apply online you can complete a paper form, which you can obtain by telephoning School Admissions on 020 8891 7514.

Application outcome

All Richmond residents, except those that applied online and were offered their first preference, will receive a letter notifying them of the outcome of their application regardless of application method.

Online

  • If you have applied online you will be sent an email with the outcome of your application during the evening of 16th April 2019.
  • Please wait until you have received the email before logging on to the eAdmissions website.

The availability of results for viewing will be staggered to assist demand, so precise timings cannot be guaranteed.

Paper

  • If you submitted a paper application, a letter containing the outcome will be sent to parents/carers by first class post on 16th April 2019.

Accepting an offer

You must accept or decline the place offered by 30th April 2019.

Appeals

The deadline for appeals is 24th May 2019
