How to begin your child's journey...

We aim to make the admissions process here at the GEMS Twickenham Primary Academy as simple, straightforward and stress free as it can be. 

Please visit the primary admissions page of the Richmond Borough Council to apply for a place in Reception for 2017.

Admissions timeline:

September 2016: Admissions for Reception places open. Children born between 1 September 2012 and 31 August 2013 can start in Reception class in September 2017. 

Friday 15 January 2017: application deadline for places in September 2017.

The easiest way is to apply online using the school admissions website. Please read their Personal Information Policy and validity of information given before applying online.

If you are unable to apply online you can complete a paper form, which you can obtain by telephoning School Admissions on 020 8891 7514.

Application outcome

All Richmond residents, except those that applied online and were offered their first preference, will receive a letter notifying them of the outcome of their application regardless of application method.

Online

  • If you have applied online you will be sent an email with the outcome of your application during the evening of 18 April 2017.
  • Please wait until you have received the email before logging on to the eAdmissions website.

The availability of results for viewing will be staggered to assist demand, so precise timings cannot be guaranteed.

Paper

  • If you submitted a paper application, a letter containing the outcome will be sent to parents/carers by first class post on 18 April 2017.

Accepting an offer

You must accept or decline the place offered by 2nd May 2017.
